AERO MEDICAL - INITIAL EXAM

Aero Medical Assessments and Certification for Commercial and Private Pilots, Cabin Crew and Air Traffic Controllers. Please Note – Initial Class 1 Commercial Pilots and Air Traffic Controllers must complete their first medical in Dublin. Renewals can be completed with Dr Clarke.   • C1: – Class 1 Professional Pilots Medical Certificate  Initial Examination only done in Mater Aeromedical Centre

  • C2: – Class 2 Student / Private Pilots Medical Certificate - €250

  • C3: – Class 3 Medical Certification of Air Traffic Controllers (ATCO) - €250

  • LAPL: Light Aircraft Pilot’s Licence Medical Certification - €250

  • CC: – Flight/Cabin Crew Personnel Medical Certification - €250

Please note that there is an extra charge for the following
audiogram (hearing test)              €40

ECG                                             €30

Blood Tests                                  €25

Aero Medical Assessments and Certification for Commercial and Private Pilots, Cabin Crew and Air Traffic Controllers. Examinations medical can be done up to 45 days before the expiry of your current medical.

  • C1: – Class 1 Professional Pilots Medical Certificate - €250

  • C2: – Class 2 Student / Private Pilots Medical Certificate - €250

  • C3: – Class 3 Medical Certification of Air Traffic Controllers (ATCO) - €250

  • LAPL: Light Aircraft Pilot’s Licence Medical Certification - €250

  • CC: – Flight/Cabin Crew Personnel Medical Certification - €250

What do I need for my exam?

Please bring Passport, spectacles/vision correction that you may need; along with your vision prescription. For Aero Medical Renewal you will also need to bring your previous IAA Medical Certificate.

When can my Aeromedical Examination be completed?

The medical can be done up to 45 days before the expiry of your current medical.

What is the fee for this exam?

Costs vary, depending on the certificate type and the investigations required. Please see your Aero Medical classification and appointment to view prices above. Please note: additional fees apply for blood tests, ECG and audiograms.
